Reach Out Project INC

In 2018 the organizations served 70 individuals and families affected substance use and/or mental health disorders. Due to the increase of opiate and heroin use in Connecticut the demand of trained recovery coaches there was a greater need to support individuals and families during the drug epidemic crisis. The program objectives is to provide a non-judgmental safe environment, train 60 new recovery coaches to learn how to assist individuals and families struggling with addictions by finding access to treatment and recovery, mental health first aid training and family support groups. A comprehensive survey was provided to all participants indicating demographics and to measure the outcome of success for the training and support groups.
